あさってイタリアに行くので新しいコレクションの準備にてんてこ舞いしています。
今度のコレクションは内容が大幅に変わります。ますます中身を充実させたものになります。リングやネックレスも加える予定で、日本ではCyn.のサイトで発表したいと思っています。

写真は帰りにいつも通るウィルシャイア・ストリートで私の大好きなところです。ロスの中心地にありながらとても静かな街なみです。
街を離れる前や帰って来たときの夜必ずドライブするところです。

イタリアからもいっぱい写真を送りますよ。

HI EVERYONE!!!

Hope everyone is having a happy day!
I am leaving to Italy in a day and it has been alittle crazy trying to get ready for the new collection.
The new collection is going to be very different then collection now. More patterns then just solids.

We are trying to expand into rings and necklaces! I will have the rings on the CYN site as one of the first stores in Japan!
Attached is a pic of my favorite street on Wilshire on the way to my house. For some reason it is very peaceful even in the city.

It is the street I am always happy to drive on at night before I leave and when I get back from my trips.
I will be taking lots of pic in Italy and I am sure I will have alot to share with everyone.

この写真も、今年の夏にイタリアに行った時に撮った写真です。

すごくおいしそうでしょ~？

日本でニョッキというと、前菜というイメージはないと思いますが、それがイタリアでは前菜なんですねぇ。

普段だと、これだけ前菜を食べると他の物って食べられなくなるけど、
不思議とぺろりといろんなものが食べられちゃうんですよね。
旅って、そういう効果もあるんですね。

In Italy, this is “Appetizer,” not main dish.
If I take this dish first, I feel full – but lovely Italians are no problem…

私は、ファッション以外でも食べることが大好き！

だって、おいしいものを食べると、幸せな気持ちになれるでしょ？
いろんな所へ行って、いろんなおいしいものを好きな仲間と食べる！
こんな有意義な時間の過ごし方って、すごく最高ですよね。　

このパスタは、イタリアに行った時に食べたランチのパスタです。
バジル(ジェノバソース）の緑、クリームチーズの白、トマトの赤とイタリアンカラーでもりつけられています。見た目もすごく素敵でしょ？味も最高においしかったですよ！

Family of Bracelet Maestro

ブログ第3弾は、私が仕事でお世話になっている方を紹介します。

vitaなどのブレスでお世話になっている家族と。

ブレスを作り始めたのはこの人のおじいさんで、ブランド・グッチのグッチオのお父さんと友達同士だった。日本にいったこともあり、その時に覚えた日本語が、｢もしもし」「しゃぶ、しゃぶ」だそうです（２度繰り返す言葉は、覚えやすいのかも？！）。

日本でも三越や高島屋でベルトが売られています。

左が息子でブレスの会社を継いでいる。左がお母さん。家族はあと二人の娘さんがいる。右側の女性は従業員。とても楽しい夕食でした。

ちなみにこの写真は、今年の夏に撮った写真です。

One shot with family of the maestro of bracelet maker. His grand father, a friend of Guccio's father, started making bracelet. He went to Japan, and "moshi moshi" and "shabu shabu" are his Japanese. His another products, BELTs have been handled at Mitsukoshi and Takashimaya.
The left side is his son who undertakes company of bracelet.Next is his mother. The family include 2 other daughters. The right is a worker of bracelet factory.

VITAの新しいコレクション

皆さん　こんにちは！


景気の沈滞のなか大統領選挙を来週に控え喧騒にまみれたここLAで、私はVITAの新しいコレクションの準備をしています。

新しいコレクションの準備はいつもそうなのですが、猛烈なストレスです！

終わるまで、新しいスタイルがお客様に気に入っていただけるかいつも緊張しています。新しいデザインをご覧いただいてお客様に気に入っていただいた瞬間、それまでの張りつめていたもの緩みます。

今回のコレクションは、マミィとグランマのクローゼットからヒントをもらいました。温故知新。昔の職人の技、色使い、スタイル、こういった物を現代風にする。。。。二人のクローゼットから絹のシャツ、スカーフ、ワンピースから引っ張り出して並べてみる。ユニークだけど何か違う。この感じを全部お話しするのは難しいのでCyn.のホームページをちょこちょこ遊びに来て下さいね。

先日、ジェニファー・ロペスのスタイリストからVITAのブレスが欲しいと電話がありました。

気に入ってもらっているのでVITAをつけた写真を送ってもらったらブログで紹介しますね。





ハロウィンのコスチュームをスパイダーマンにしようかカボチャにしようかと悩んでいたパディントンという友人のセレブ犬です。彼のお母さんもこちらで有名なコマーシャルにでています。

バラク・オバマ氏が次期アメリカ大統領に決まりました。私も投票して来ました。

Hi Everyone!

It is crazy here in LA with the economy, presidential election next week and I am creating a new collection for Vita.

Creating a new collection is always so much fun but so stressful!
Until it is all done I am always nervous that people wont like the new styles. The best feeling is when a customer first looks at the new designs and says they love it, then I feel better.

This collection my ideas are coming from my mom and grandma's closet. All about vintage meets modern. Vintage craftmanship, colors and styles but with a fun modern twist. I have gathered great silk shirts, scarves, dresses from their closets to really put together something unique and different. Cant tell you everything but I hope you will check it out on the Cyn website.

Today we got a call from Jennifer Lopez stylist and she wanted Vita bracelets and we gave her a few.
She apparently liked them so when i get a pic of her wearing Vita I will defintly put it on my blog.

Tommorow is halloween here in LA and my good friend has a dog named Padington. He is a celeb dog! A famous comercial here has his mom featured it. Attached is the image. We are deciding on Spider Man or Pumpkin. Let me know what you think?
Because I have no children he is my godson!

Mr. Balak Obama elected as new President!
